The Atlantic sharpnose shark is a small but swift predator common in western Atlantic waters. It features a slender, fusiform body and sharp pointed nose. This shark is popular among anglers for its fighting ability despite its modest size.
Where they live
Found in brackish and saltwater along the Atlantic coast of North America, including the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean. They inhabit waters from the surface down to about 280 meters deep.
