The blue antimora is a deepwater fish known for its elongated body and presence in deep continental slopes. It inhabits ocean depths ranging from about 350 to 3000 meters, moving offshore as it grows and spawning in deep waters. This species primarily hunts macrofauna such as squid and small crustaceans in its dark, deep-sea environment.
