The Blue ling is a large, elongated saltwater fish found in deep Atlantic and Mediterranean waters. It is a predatory species known for hunting various smaller fish and marine creatures. Although not typically targeted as a game fish, it can grow quite large, reaching up to 1.5 meters in length.
Where they live
Blue ling inhabit deep saltwater environments from 150 to 1000 meters depth across the North Atlantic and Mediterranean regions. They are commonly found on rocky and benthic seabeds.
