Where they live
Found in brackish and saltwater environments across the Pacific and Indian Oceans, Bluefin trevally inhabit coastal reefs, inshore areas, and deeper waters down to 190 meters. Juveniles appear seasonally in shallow sandy inshore waters and occasionally in rivers.
