The copper shark is a robust, fast-swimming predator found in coastal waters worldwide. It occasionally enters estuaries and is known for its bronze coloring and sharp hunting skills. This species can grow large and provides a challenging game fishing experience.

Where they live

Copper sharks inhabit surf zones to depths of about 100 meters across continental shelves worldwide, including the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Oceans, and the Mediterranean. They sometimes enter brackish estuaries.
