How to catch Dog snapper

The Dog snapper is a strong predator found in reef and coastal environments. Adults frequent rocky or coral reefs while juveniles inhabit estuaries and sometimes rivers. They feed on a variety of fish and bottom-dwelling invertebrates including shrimps, crabs, and octopus.
Where they live
Common around rocky and coral reefs in shallow to moderate depths. Juveniles live in estuaries and sometimes enter rivers. Found in saltwater, brackish waters, and freshwater regions of the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico.
