The Grey gurnard is an elongated fish known for migrating toward shores in summer and entering estuaries. It is a predatory species that hunts various cephalopods. It can grow up to 60 cm in length and weigh nearly one kilogram.

Where they live

Found in brackish and saltwater environments throughout the Atlantic and Mediterranean, typically from shallow waters around 10 meters down to depths of 340 meters. Moves closer to shore during summer, occasionally entering estuaries.
