The Humpnose big-eye bream is a nocturnal predator found near coral reefs. It has a fusiform body and can grow up to 60 cm long. This species often forms groups of about 50 individuals and is associated with seagrass areas.

Where they live

Inhabits sandy and rubble zones near coral reefs in the Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean. Commonly found from shallow waters to depths of 100 meters, often near seagrass beds.
