The Madura goby is a small, elongated fish found in fresh and brackish waters. It feeds by browsing on diatoms and typically stays hidden in burrows during low tide. This species is not targeted as a game fish due to its small size.

Where they live

Inhabits shallow fresh and brackish waters across Asia and the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Prefers burrows created by small shrimp species and is inactive at low tide.
