The marbled moray cod is an elongated saltwater fish found in Atlantic and Indian Ocean shelves and slopes. It feeds selectively on zooplankton and is not considered a game fish. It grows up to about 44 cm in length.
Where they live
Found on continental and insular shelves and slopes in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, from shallow depths of 30 meters to deep waters reaching 1600 meters.
