The Night Shark is a medium to large predatory shark known for its sleek, fusiform body. It is a fast swimmer inhabiting deep offshore waters primarily at night. This species is prized in sport fishing for its size and fighting ability.

Where they live

Found in deep saltwater environments from shallow nearshore areas down to 600 meters. It ranges across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, including the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.
