The Patagonian grenadier is a schooling fish found along the outer continental shelf. It has an elongated body and migrates seasonally between northern and southern waters. This species primarily feeds on small fish and various marine invertebrates.

Where they live

Found in saltwater on the outer continental shelf of the South Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, typically at depths from 30 to 500 meters.
