The Rainbow Parrotfish is a large, colorful reef fish known for its distinctive bright blue and green hues. It uses its strong beak-like teeth to browse algae off coral and rocks. This species often retreats to caves at night or when threatened.

Where they live

Found in shallow to mid-depth reef areas across the Caribbean and Atlantic. Juveniles frequent mangroves, while adults stay around coral reefs and caves between 3 to 25 meters deep.
