How to catch Red lionfish
Pterois volitans

The red lionfish is a striking saltwater fish known for its venomous spines and unique hunting technique. It dwells mainly in reefs and hides motionless during the day, becoming active at night to ambush prey. Its broad pectoral fins help corner and stun small fishes and crustaceans before swallowing them.
Where they live
Found on lagoon and seaward reefs from shallow inshore waters down to about 50 meters deep across Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. Prefers sheltered reef areas where it can remain still during daytime.
