The Roho labeo is a large freshwater fish found in rivers across Asia and Africa. It is typically solitary and active during the day. This species occasionally burrows and feeds mainly by grazing on aquatic plants and algae.
Where they live
Found in shallow river waters up to 5 meters deep, the Roho labeo inhabits freshwater and brackish areas in Asia and Africa, usually at altitudes below 500 meters and in temperatures above 14°C.
