How to catch Sailray
Rajella lintea

The Sailray is a benthic skate species known for its sharp nose and pale coloration. It inhabits deep, cold Atlantic waters and feeds on a variety of bottom-dwelling fish and crustaceans. This species can reach lengths up to 125 cm and is considered a game fish by anglers.
Where they live
Found in North Atlantic saltwaters from shallow depths around 150 m to deep waters exceeding 2000 m over sandy, muddy, and rocky seabeds. Prefers cold temperatures between 3.6°C and 6°C, often below 250 m depth.
