The Sliteye shark is a slender shark found in shallow, clear waters of the continental shelf. It preys on small fish, squid, and shrimp. This species is known for its elongated body and occurs at depths from near the surface to 80 meters.
Where they live
Inhabits shallow coastal and continental shelf waters in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, from 7 to 80 meters deep. Prefers clear, inshore marine environments.
