The Solenette, also known as the Yellow sole, is a small flatfish found in European waters. It has a short and deep body shape and can reach up to 20 cm in length. This species is not considered a game fish but is an interesting catch for casual anglers.

Where they live

The Solenette inhabits saltwater environments in the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, ranging from shallow waters around 5 meters deep down to 450 meters.
