The spotted dragonet is a small, elongated saltwater fish found across the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean. It preys on a variety of small marine invertebrates. This species is not targeted by anglers as a game fish.

Where they live

Inhabits saltwater from shallow waters around 45 meters to depths of 650 meters across the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean regions.
