White perch is a versatile anadromous fish found in fresh, brackish, and coastal waters. It is an active predator with an elongated body and can grow up to 58 cm long. Anglers prize it for its fighting ability and adaptability in various water types.

Where they live

Found primarily in brackish waters, white perch also inhabit quiet pools in medium to large rivers over muddy bottoms. They occur along the Atlantic coast of North America and tolerate freshwater and saltwater environments, usually within depths up to 10 meters.
