The white skate is a large ray found mainly in deeper marine waters. It has a distinctive bottlenose appearance and inhabits the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea. It is a game fish valued for its size and unique shape.

Where they live

Found in saltwater at depths ranging from 30 to 600 meters across the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean regions. Prefers deeper waters but can be found on continental shelves.
