Widow rockfish, also known as Brown bomber or Rock cod, is a predatory saltwater fish found in the Pacific waters off North America. It has a fusiform body shape and can grow up to 60 cm long. This species hunts planktonic crustaceans and small fish in deep waters.

Occurs in Pacific saltwater off North America, inhabiting depths from the surface down to around 550 meters.
