The Zebra shark is a large, elongated tropical shark known for its distinctive pattern and sluggish daytime behavior. It inhabits rocky and coral reef environments and is a predator of small fishes and various invertebrates. This species is found mainly in brackish and saltwater areas of the Indo-Pacific region.
Where they live
Found on sandy, rubble, and coral bottoms of tropical inshore areas, both in brackish and saltwater, from shallow reefs down to 90 meters deep in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
